Graduate Gateway

The Graduate Gateway, formerly known as The Amvensys Foundation, is a charity formed in 2011. It admitted the first class of Amvensys Scholars in 2012. The organization’s mission is to increase access to secondary education to help individuals, families, and communities escape poverty. The organization strives to provide comprehensive college access support services, including scholarships, to college students coming from poverty and homelessness. Graduate Gateway is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization that aims to alleviate poverty through funding higher education. The name change reflects the evolving role of the organization in supporting low-income students in combating the increasing rates of generational poverty.
